The Outdoor Stone Bathtub
Outdoor tubs are almost synonymous with some of Tasmania’s most renowned unique accommodation, so naturally, Elsewhere has one too. The 2.2-metre long natural stone tub sits in privacy on the cliff above the beachfront, with its own gas hot water supply and gazebo bath house, made from recycled driftwood.
Bathing during the evening is a prime time for stargazing, with the clear air of Tasmania’s south producing mesmerizing night time views. All the while, the ocean gently laps the beach below, almost literally washing the time away.
You’ll be in absolute privacy in the tub, with Eggs and Bacon Bay home to just a handful of residents - not counting the many local paddymelons (wallabies), of course.
